Description: MAKE OFFER Circa 1925 Art Deco French Clock with silver and bronze Harlequin minstrel playing a banjo, seated on a brown marble bench. A pair of matching candlesticks completes the set. Stunning Art Deco piece. Displays beautifully as it sits. Well worth restoration, if desired. The candlesticks are a bonus. I’m told they are rarely found still with the clock. Bayard / 8 DAY / Mechanism reads, “Echappement Ancre / 7Rubis / Made in France”Clock ran when tested. I have not serviced it or otherwise performed any restorations to the piece. Fair condition with small chips to corners of the marble base of clock and candlesticks. Repairs to candlesticks. Repairs to hands of Harlequin figure, which was likely reattached to the marble bench at some point. Chunk out of the top of the brown marble bench (next to left thigh of seated Harlequin figure) where it meets the marble body of the clock. Approx.
