1949 B/W 12" 415CV Sentinel Mahogany Console Television Set

Description: SENTINEL TV DESCRIPTION: How would you like to own a piece of good, old-fashioned American history? This is an AS-IS original 1949 B/W 12”Sentinel 415-CV Mahogany Console Television! With nearly 75 years under its belt, it would make a very nice Livingroom or study show piece. With a little attention and TLC, it should provide wonders for the buyer/collector!CONDITION:The TV does have scratches, cuts, and faded spots on it (the usual normal wear and tear of such an old item). The TV (Tube), itself, is non-functional. It needs a proper electric cord able for the system, and probably some tubes to get everything started. The TV needs to be thoroughly inspected, overhauled, and repaired in order for it to work properly and to be safe for normal use. It is highly recommended to take this unit to a certified TV repair shop for repairs/inspection. This unit is 74years old with the original parts still installed. All control knobs (4) still turn. Console’s wheels (4) are present and still turn freely. Back cover is missing. Although unit has been cleaned and polished, it still needs a thorough internal cleaning.
