Description: One all original SEARS SILVERTONE MODEL 1452L GUITAR made in USA in 1966 by Danelectro . Sunburst type finish. It comes with it's original matching # 1452 AMP in CASE. This guitar features a solid wood body, dual "lip-stick" pickups and tremolo bridge. This was one of the last USA made Danelectro guitar model up until 1968 which is when the company changed hands and went overseas. The body is in very good condition with various chips and dings in the finish. There are age checking lines in the finish except for the back of the neck which is smooth. Neck & frets & rosewood fretboard are in excellent shape. Couple small dings on neck.This is a pretty rare model, in great shape, all original (made in 1966, NOT A REISSUE). Everything works and guitar is very playable. Absolutely no modifications or repairs. ELECTRONICS, Guitar; Untouched wiring, CTS pots #137 6616 (16th week of 1966) Original Lip-stick pickups; bridge reads 3.181 ohms, neck reads 3.07 ohms. They sound awesome!DATE CODE 4106 (on neck). CASE; Original case with Silvertone # 1452 tube amp & 8" Jensen Special Design speaker # C8-T C7571-4. Foot switch controls the tremolo amp function. Powers up and sounds great - all functions work as they should. All rubber feet present and some dings & a small crack visible but overall excellent appearance. Stays in open position when opened. Three latches. WEIGHT; Guitar weighs 7 lbs.
