1oz Zinnia Pumila Mix Flower Seeds Zinnia Elegans (approx 4200 Seeds)

Description: 1oz Zinnia Pumila Mix Flower Seeds Zinnia Elegans (approx 4200 Seeds) ********** Zinnia ‘Pumila Mix’ has 1-1.5 inch wide flowers that are semi-double to double. The mix of colors include pink, purple, orange, red, white and yellow. This species is native to Mexico, and plants are fast-growing and long-blooming. Zinnias make good cut flowers. In addition, they are excellent for pollinator plantings and are especially attractive to butterflies. HOW TO GROW ZINNIA Direct sow in spring; this seed germinates best in warm soil. Plant just below the surface and keep the soil lightly moist until germination, which usually occurs within 7-10 days. Seedlings do not transplant well. Water seedlings regularly until they become established, but do not over water. Though they flourish with occasional watering in dry weather, mature plants tolerate some drought. This plant grows best in rich soil, and may need light fertilization for best blooming. Pinch off the growing stems to encourage bushiness, and deadhead to prolong blooming. This plant attracts butterflies and bees. *** ()*** MORE INFO: Name: Zinnia Pumila Mix Scientific Name: Zinnia Elegans Color: pink, purple, orange, red, white and yellow Hardiness Zones: N/A (but reseeds itself easily, so it acts like a perennial in all zones) Plant Seeds: Outdoors After Frost or Indoors Weeks Before Last FrostPlant Height: 18-24" Plant Spacing: 12"-15"Cycle: Annual/Tender Perennial (Will reseed itself) Bloom Season - Fall, Summer Light Requirements: Full Sun Soil & Water Preferences: Average Other: Attracts bees, birds, & butterflies, Max shipping fee is $3.95.
