Description: This is an original antique (late 19th century) stoneware butter churn with salt glaze on the outside, Albany slip glaze on the inside, and cobalt bee sting marking on the front. It is unsigned but appears to be an early Red Wing. Condition is excellent. There are some tiny flakes around the top edge and one small V-shape hairline visible on the inside, but only one side of the V goes through to the outside (shown close-up in the photos). There is no other visible damage. The churn is clean and displays beautifully! It measures about 11" in diameter x 16 1/2" H and will be packed securely, double boxed, and fully insured during shipping. Advertised shipping cost covers shipping within the lower 48 states only. Please ask for a shipping quote to AK, HI, or Puerto Rico.
