PICK UP FROM BRAMPTON here i am offering a beautiful direct drive vintage akai cassette deck GX-52 serviced, works great, one new belt this is a direct drive deck. for those who are not familiar with direct drive units. Direct drive unit does not run by belt like most decks. instead it has coil to spin it. often you find this feature in high end units. it does have one belt for the door opening/closing which i replaced with a new same spec belt. pinch roller and idler tire have been treated with rubber renue for smooth operations it has a few minor superficial nicks/scratcher otherwise in really nice beautiful clean shape for a vintage deck. everything works excellent. very solid and heavy. head also been cleaned and demagnetized. please examine the large pictures for cosmetic conditions. these are actual pictures if you read the owners manual its pointed out that all the components in this deck is same as a 3 head deck.
