Description: Up for sale it is a beautiful and gorgeous 1953 50 centavos silver coin pendant from El Salvador. The bezel of the coin is being sold as new. The coin is being sold as circulated. This coin/pendant presents slight blemishes and scratches on all around its surface. The pendant may have slight nicks, smudges, stains and discoloration due to oxidation of the metal. However this coin/pendant does not show major damages such as deep scratches, deep nicks, bents or dents. The overall condition of this pendant is in very fine condition. The coin portrays one of the founding fathers of El Salvador. This beautiful coin/pendant displays Father Jose Matias Delgado. Father Delgado was one of the activists whom participated in the first attempt for independence from Spain on November 5, 1811. Father Delgado also participated in the emancipation of slavery in El Salvador. He finally vindicated himself in the victory and independence from Spain on 15 September 1821.
