Description: A very limited collection of nudes from the 1940-1950 era extracted from a MASSIVE photographer’s ESTATE in Clearwater Florida. Only one was found. It has the slightest bit of a sepia tone just a little bit of discoloration I do know that George took and developed these photographs in his studio. What I don’t know, is if it’s an original photograph, or if this is a picture of a picture. The woman looks familiar to me for some reason like I might’ve seen her in photographs before somewhere else. There are other images of this woman available in some of my other listings Estimated date sometime between 1941 - 1945. George Fulmer. Photographer for the city of Clearwater for over half a century. Also a Navy enlisted photographer during WW2. After cleaning out the residence & studio in 2014, we have been sorting through over 100,000 photographs for the last 10 years, and are finally offering some up for sale individually. As the estate gains recognition and momentum here, we will begin to list more and more, some in sets, and some for auction as well. Eventually we hope to place the bulk of this estate with a collector. We hope to Bring recognition to his life's work as well as to find homes for the history of an entire city as documented by the city photographer. The photographs include everything you would've expected a city photographer to have been present for, from weddings, to new construction, aerial photographs, sporting events, school events, press photography, police, Jaycees, and a really nice , but VERY LIMITED collection of nude photographs from a nudist camp that is still in operation here today. Even more limited, there were a handful of war photographs and film that we were able to save, but it was not much as unfortunately for some reason, he had stored the war photographs outside where they were exposed to the weather, and sadly they had been completely destroyed. The photos that are being offered here were well preserved, found inside the home and studio, in a cool, dry, cellar type setting. FOLLOW US ON EBAY !!! This is quite a project for only two curators, so please follow us, and be patient as we slowly unveil the contents of this massive estate. And always, if you see something that you like, please make an offer!! Shipping will be by priority mail unless otherwise requested.
