Description: (Indeterminate/75 Days) Goldie Tomato is an heirloom and is said to be almost 200 years old, but was first introduced in 1977 by Gleckers seedsmen. It is without a doubt one if the best orange varieties, producing large, golden, often bi-lobed fruit that averages between 1-1 ½ pounds. This is an excellent beefsteak for short season growers as it matures very early. Do not plant out until 2 weeks after last frost. Tomato seeds require high soil temperatures for good germination rates. We highly recommend heat mats to ensure and speed up germination. Pot up to 3–4 inch pots when first true leaves develop (not cotyledon leaves). Harden off plants for 1-2 weeks in full sun before transplanting them outside (after last frost). Make sure to give tomato plants a lot of space for vigorous root and foliage growth.
