Guild D66-NT 1985 Serial KD 100106The last serial # from 1984 was KD10011 from the Guild Website Sitka spruce top, Indian rosewood back and sides, herringbone soundhole rosette, scalloped bracing, designed by George Gruhn. It's a rare one. It was only made from 1984 thru 86. Designed by George Gruhn for Guild. It's multiple bound top and back, rosewood back and sides, sitka spruce top, scalloped bracing, mahogany neck, 25 5/8" scale, bound ebony fingerboard, slotted-diamond inlay, G-shield peghead inlay. Various weather checks on the gloss finish here and there across the top of the D66. Also some small dings and dents. See the pics but they do not alter the sound of this great vintage guitar at all and it really doesn't seem so bad looking IMO. Character marks as they say... 2 top cracks have been professionally repaired. One is on the high E string side on the top by the fret board see picture with label and neck. The other is below the bridge on the lower half side. A zero fret has been installed as well to enhance intonation and this guitar plays in tune very well up and down the neck. This guitar has a beautiful full sound. Around 15 second long sustain open chord strum. I hate to let it go but financial need is calling. Thanks for looking, Tom
