Description: Did you know that the first time Bill Clinton ran for elected office he lost? That was in 1974, the year of this @ 3" x 5.25" cardstock item called a poll or a palm card because it was meant to fit into your hand when given to you. He ran for U.S. Congress in the 3rd District while teaching as a University of Arkansas law professor. Too bad he forgot his lessons about lying under oath, or he might not have been impeached and dis-barred. These early career, pre-presidential items are one of the hottest genres of political collecting at this time. And, with all those adoring Clintonites out there, this might not last online very long and's the last one we have. An example of this went for over $900.00 in a recent Anderson's Americana auction in April of last year, so our asking price is less than 1/3 of that. This is in nice condition, but please enlarge our image to judge this for yourself so you can be happy with it. There is some wear and slight browning at top right which is also why we're pricing it as such. But remember, it's rare as Arkansas hen's teeth. We are members of APIC and sell only authentic presidential (and other collectible) material so buy with confidence. We'll be happy to combine S & H costs on multiple purchases. Shipping on this will be $5.00, carefully packed with tracking. And we'll even buy the insurance on your package to protect both of us since we can't replace it. 6203
