The italic stub nib on the calligraphy pens (1.1, 1.5, 1.9, 2.5 and 2.9 mm) create a wide down-stroke, and narrow side-stroke. The 0.7 mm nib is a medium-broad for sketching lines and adding details, and the 0.38 mm extra fine and the 0.5 mm fine nibs are excellent for small, fine details. The cap is snap on. Each pen includes a converter for bottled ink.
