This salt has no iodine or other additives. Ingredients: Plain Salt (No additives) This product is shipped double-bagged and double-sealed in 2-mil poly bags. It is packaged from the manufacture sealed boxes shown in photos. Packaging this product this way allows us to send the largest amount the least expensive way for the best value to our customers. If you prefer the sealed boxes, and live in the western U.S., please select the alternate shipping option for an additional charge.If you live in the Eastern U.S. states, shipping will be upgraded for no charge and your item will be sent in their original 4lb boxes. Expiration/Best By Date: None posted or required as salt does not expire, but this salt is always packaged by Morton within the past year. Salt may harden slightly in the box, since it is all natural with no anti-caking additives. However, it breaks apart easily. Best if stored in a cool/dry area. Questions?
