Description: This is a Richards Opera size: 10 petite fully lined long jacket. The colour is burgundy and it has a metallic finish to it. The style is a classic shaped fit with a notched collar and 2 buttons to fasten. The collar can be flat or stood up. The sleeves are long with 3 buttons on each at the cuff ends. There are no pockets. It has shoulder pads inside the full lining which matches the colour of the shell material. The jacket is well made. I bought it in the late 2000s/early 2010s to wear as an evening top layer but it never got worn. It got creased when I packed it ready for moving house because my stuff ended up in storage for a while. It has been hung up for the last year and the creasing has reduced but hasn't gone. The approx. measurements that I have made are: the length down the back from the neck line to the hem is 32.1/2" (82.5cm), the sleeve seam is 14.1/2" (e6.75cm), from shoulder to shoulder across the back is 15.1/4" (38.5cm), the pit to pit across the back is 18.1/4" (46.25cm) & from pit to pit across the front is 18" (46.25cm). The buttons are a pearlised burgundy colour, the top front one has a white mark on it. As mentioned above I bought it as evening/formal wear but never got round to wearing it. It's a nice jacket but I don't need that type of wear anymore.
