Prototype Northwoods Gladstone Michigan USA Fixed Blade Knife RARE

Description: This model is a Northwoods Knifes Prototype made in Gladstone Michigan USA. Gladstone Michigan is a famous point for custom knife makers to produce their products. For any who do not know, the World famous Marble Arms Co. started their manufacturing from Gladstone Michigan and from that with various ties many high quality knives have been and some still are manufactured in the Gladstone area today. This particular Northwoods is of high quality and is fine to use and of course very collectable. As this rare knife was a Prototype, it lacks a bit of finish grinding and buffing. There are some minor areas in the tang area that did not receive the fine tuning that the finish knife would have. Mind you, these are very minor slight grooves etc. Other than noticing after close inspection, these minut imperfections would not impair the knifes performance. It is not the everyday norm to find a Prototype such as this. The length of the blade is 3 7/8" inches This knifes' wood slabs has been processed to bring out the beautiful burls, swirls and grain of the wood . When the wood is processed to make these handle slabs, you will never find two alike. Every handle will contain a different design in the wood. There is no sheath with this knife.
