Helen Motney was a California potter in the 1940s/50s whose work is very collectible. There are two chips under the inside edge of the lid as shown in the attached photos. There is some mild crazing which is expected for its age. Overall this item is in good vintage condition and is a great display! From a clean, smoke free environment.
