Restored Griswold No. 14 Large Block Slant EPU 742A Cast Iron Bailed Griddle

Description: This listing is for a very nice fully Restored Griswold Cast Iron Bailed Griddle. It is a fairly early model and it is the number 14 measuring about 14-1/4" in diameter. This unit has the Large Slant Block Logo with "EPU 742A. The bottom is not flat and there is some slight wobble. Upon pushing down on one side the other side raises about 3/16". This would be a problem on a glass cooktop (although I can't imagine using a 14" griddle on a glass cooktop) but not a real issue on other type cooking surfaces. There are no cracks, repairs or damage of any kind. This griddle has been cleaned with the lye process, removing all organic waste including soot, baked on food, carbon and any other contaminate. It is then washed in a hot soapy bath. It is in similar condition as it was when sold new with only some light utensil scratches to the cooking surface and of course the slight wobble. The pan has been lightly seasoned with grape seed oil and will need continued seasoning if you intend to use it and why would you not. Professional packaging and shipment by FedEx is $21.50 in the 48 states which does not include Hawaii and Alaska.
