Included in this lot: One (1) pinwheel/jelly roll, containing 40 (2.5"x43/44") strips. I've never been to Vienna, so I might be a bit stymied on how to attribute this series to that city, but it doesn't matter. This is a beautiful series of batiks, based on geometric images and blenders that stands well on its own but also blends well with other batik collections. The palette and the motifs are both suited for men and women, and given the limited palette (really, only four tones), this makes a gorgeous around-the-world or ombre quilt. Jelly rolls are wonderful for making lasagna quilts, strip quilts, log cabin quilts, and a number of other patterns. They are easily cut down into 2.5" squares to create nine patch blocks as well, or simply to do a scrappy quilt if you have strips from other pinwheels or leftover from previous projects. I make lap quilts for cancer patients (all ages) and Alzheimer's patients and have pieced several lap quilt tops using this particular jelly roll.
