Description: Nice volume of collected “Mutts” from the color Sunday comics. This volume was published in 1999 and includes a limited bookplate signed by author and illustrator Patrick McDonnell. Mutts is a great cerebral and irreverent strip meant as much for adults as children with its literary references and its great modern takes from classical art. This edition is in real nice shape with the previous owners stamp in the inside cover. The only issue is some “rippling” to the water resistant “covering” of mostly the front cover (see pics). It’s hard to describe and other than aesthetics does not affect the book itself. Please scrutinize the pictures to judge condition for yourself and thanks for stopping by.
