Description: The Latin Sound of Henry Mancini▲NEVER PLAYED!▲RCA FTP-1298▲7½IPS½▲Reel to Reel. Despite the fact this tape is 60 years old, it is in NEAR PERFECT shape. Today I played about 3/4 both forward and backwards. I had to peel the "Remove This Sticker Before Playing" sticker. I assumed my dad had just reattached it. But after removing the reel from the player I noticed the tape that was unplayed is perfectly wound. It is obvious to me that until today the tape had never been played I‘ve played it in both directions and it sounds perfect. As you can see, the cardboard case is also beautiful. I doubt you'd find a better example anywhere. I am slowing selling off an extensive collection of reels I recently inherited from my father who loved Jazz, Big Band & more... and his collection as much as life itself. So watch for my other auctions.
