Description: This Verdi Il Trovatore 2xLP vinyl box set from 1952 is a rare gem that any classical music lover would cherish. The set includes two vinyl records with a speed of 33 RPM and features performances by top-notch performers like the RCA Victor Orchestra, The Robert Shaw Chorale, and conductor Renato Cellini. The vinyl records are in very good plus (VG+) condition, while the sleeve grading is also very good plus (VG+). The vinyl looks bright shiny and clean with no scratches or fingerprints. I am listening to Side One as I enter this info and it sounds great! There is some slight static crackle on background that is most evident during the quiet parts. The only flaw being previous owner has written their name on the inside of the box “Joan Lois Leopoldo”and there is some minor age spotting to the beautiful front cover artwork on the very top. This former owner kept their collection in fine shape! No mold or odd smells. The set includes a mini booklet with 84 pages that provides information and notes in English, along with the libretto in both English and Italian. The box set is a United States release under the RCA Victor Red Seal edition, and it comes with features that any collector would appreciate.
