Description: *****See my other auctions for more great historic items!***** Vintage 1950 Madame Alexander Margaret Face Bride 17.5" Doll ~ Original Tagged Satin & Lace Wedding Gown Description: This beauty is in Tagged original gown, she is in rare NM condition. All hard plastic, sleep hazel eyes, beautiful painted delicate facial features, light rosy cheeks, closed mouth with red lip color and upper lashes. She is jointed at the neck, shoulders and hips. Dark brown original saran wig in it's original style & hairnet, she has all of her fingers and toes. She is wearing her original tagged ivory color satin wedding gown, slip, panties, nylons and shoes. Tagged "Madame Alexander" on her ivory satin & lace with rhinestones gown, this 17.5" hard plastic Madame Alexander beautiful most popular Margaret Faced doll is extraordinarily well-preserved. Her dress was only removed to photograph her, but the panties, pink nylons, & satin strap-on shoes were never removed - even the hair net is all original. The hair is in original condition - never combed nor restyled. The gown has a taffeta underslip & the ivory net veil is trimmed with lace & a flocked paper floral tiara, same as her bouquet - all 1950 & not dingy. She is very clean, has hazel sleep eyes which work perfectly, & soft pink cheeks, with NO WEAR to her features! No splits, cracks, scuffs (except for slight wear to edges of shoes), repairs, losses, nor tears. There is one pinhole in the lower right (facing her) skirt of the gown - no other flaws to her outfit. The body is well-preserved & intact with no odors & no wear or stains. (smoke free) There are no cracks, chips, scuffs, nor scratches on the head nor hands. They eyes & lids are in great condition. An unusually lovely example of this very popular doll!
