This is the lot on eBay that every Host or Hostess Desires / Needs - RARE VINTAGE GORHAM SILVER RESTRAINED ROCOCO STYLED COFFEE TEA POT SERVICE SET - CLASSIC SERVICE SET of THREE PIECES. Hallmarked and with the datemark for 1896. Traditional coffee tea pots with the distinctive elegant hinged lids along with the original lidded handled sugar pot. Each with a fancy script monogram as pictured, the handles on the pots don't wobble and look great, hinged lids are not loose, quite nice overall with the ribbed motif and hand chased workmanship not done anymore. After 125 years these still have more generations of use in them. In our family this set was used for post church tea gatherings and coffee on Sundays. It was kept away from children's hands and displayed prominently in the cabinet when not being used. Handy for an occasional morning pot of coffee when we had guests. Well cared for with almost no typical wear (VIEW PICTURES AS WE SHOW TRUE STATE). This was purchased in NY by my Grandparents with some other things we now have on eBay. Very Good / Near Pristine condition. Great on the buffet for display or open the lids and use as a flower pot, serve your modern beverages in the regal royal modern gilded age way! No longer made, this is a prize item worthy of a serious host or silver collector. Ready to use condition - especially considering these are ANTIQUES with some significant age (look at the pictures), this is a great pair of pots for a party host to have.
