The teapot comes with its original box, making it a great gift for any antique collector or tea lover. Tea pot is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks (see pictures). Comes in original handmade fabric/wood gift box.Includes original "About your tea pot" manual which provides the process in which the tea pot was made and how to care for it. The more you use your tea pot the better it gets. The appearance changes with age and use. The color intensifies and the surface also becomes more glossy. This seasoning also improves the flavor and freshness of the tea. The tea pot right now looks dark gray, brown and even sometimes dark purple depending on the light.
