Description: This listing is for a vintage/antique Clark Jackson, Sheffield Straight Razor. This razor was manufactured in the early to mid 1800s. The stamp is pretty worn, but after some due diligence, I believe this to be the correct maker. This is an excellent piece for any collector or shaving enthusiast. With a large, heavy blade measuring to 15/16, it is perfect for a close and precise shave. It has been cleaned, polished (satin finish), and dressed in a set of hand-crafted buffalo horn scales with a wedge made from fossilized natural materials. The blade face contains some deep pitting. In order to get rid of the marks, I would have to do significant grinding on the blade, which may ruin its integrity. These marks in no way affect the razors ability to shave. The edge was finished on a 12k Naniwa Superstone. This razor has been carefully restored to its former glory and is shave-ready. Please view all pictures for further details. My goal is to restore vintage razors to their former glory and provide buyers with an exemplary straight razor that you will treasure for a lifetime. If you have any questions about the razor please do not hesitate to contact me. This razor comes with a 14 day money back guarantee as long as no alterations were made to the razor. If you are not happy with the razor for any reason, return it. Returns not accepted for international customers. I apologize if this causes any inconvenience. Contact me if you wish to discuss shipping options or any other questions you may have.
