Vogue Ginny ML Walker 1955 in "And Away We Go" #55 ~ Adorable!

Ginny is in wonderful, excellent working condition with blue sleep eyes that work almost entirely on their own, only occasionally needing a gentle nudge. She has intact, black molded eyelashes and brown eyebrows. Ginny wears a thick, curly auburn 1950's Vogue replacement wig styled in a classic flip style with thick, curly bangs. She has a sweet expression, strongly blushed cheeks with no scuffs and a rosebud red mouth. Ginny's walking mechanism works correctly to smoothly turn her head side to side as you walk her legs. She can stand on her own, has all her fingers, no split seams, cracks, stains or odors, and her arms hold all poses. She is correctly marked on her back "Ginny, Vogue Dolls Inc." and a long patent number. This indicates that she was made in 1955, the first year Vogue added molded black eyelashes to their Ginny dolls. Ginny comes to you wearing a darling "And Away We Go # 55" dress in mint condition. It has a black velvet bodice and pink organdy skirt accented with black lace. The dress closes in back with the original hook and eye closure with no rust and is tagged with a crisp Medford Mass. Vogue tag. She wears matching pink organdy bloomers with tight elastic, black Mary Jane shoes with working knob closures, her original pink nylon socks, and a mint condition, black fluted-edged horsehair hat with original, tight chin strap, and accented with pink velvety flowers. She is adorable, and you will absolutely love her!
