It is mixed with MEKP catalyst to harden. It is not recommended to fiberglass below 65 degrees. Please Note: This pint of Gelcoat has Wax added. Wax is added to Gelcoat so that it will harden without tackiness. The wax rises to the surface and blocks out the air. If you are using more than one coat, it is recommended to put the first coat(s) on without wax (you will not have to sand between coats)and the last coat on with wax. If you use Gelcoat with wax and need to add another coat, you will have to sand the wax off before adding the next coat.
