Description: This is a small brass bell (Missing the ringer) for the WW2 ERA DESTROYER "USS DASHIELL" US, NAVY (DD-659) Launched in 1943 and fought several battles in the Pacific theater. The ship was reactivated in 1951 and served until 1960. This in not the ships bell and I would guess this was part of a retirement plaque or some other service memento created for a cruise deployment. The BRASS BELL is 1.75" in height and is 1.75 at the widest portion at the bottom. A very unique piece of a US NAVY SHIP HISTORY.
